GOALS Success Through Service
AmeriCorps VISTA
With a focus on the Education Priority Area, GOALS proposes to build upon the historic success and virtues of its decade long GOALS Cadets “Summer of Service” program by establishing a multi-faceted year ‘round “Success Through Service” program designed to engage participants from their childhood through young adult years in support of physical and social services. Over a 3 year period, the 10 AmeriCorps VISTA members will enable GOALS to continue to provide free, long-term, social development opportunities through the GOALS Everybody Counts Program, GOALS ABC-Clubhouse, GOALS Cadets: Forest Service, and the GOALS Cadets: Urban Service initiatives.
