All participants in GOALS community service are referred to as "GOALS Cadets." Their mission is simple-"Help Others." GOALS has developed experiences that are meant to be fun, encourage fitness, and which support other needy populations and/or needy urban areas. Through the service experience and related service-learning seminars hosted by GOALS, teen Cadets have another way to succeed and develop through their engagement in constructive social activities.

GOALS currently operates two service learning modules associated with the overall GOALS community service experience and six formal direct service modules. Service Learning is a way for GOALS participants to interact or train through service curriculum in a classroom/seminar environment. The GOALS direct service programs are project and team oriented, involving physical or social service activities. The experiences are invaluable and are intended to provide a variety of interactions ranging from beautifying parks and playgrounds to coaching the disabled in fitness activities.

GOALS welcomes corporate service volunteers! Just recently GOALS hosted a group of 50 employees from Deloitte, the largest financial service firm in Orange County, who volunteered over 300 collective hours of their time to kick-start the GOALS Garden "Too" project. With the help of all these volunteers GOALS built dozens of garden boxes, dug trenches, leveled ground, and even assembled a massive trellis, setting the whole Garden project off to a great start.

If your company or business would like to assist or volunteer at GOALS, please contact us at (714) 956-4625 or info@goals.org and we'll be happy to have your help!
